Paparazzi... love em or hate em?

I have never really kept up with the Royalty of England until Kate Middleton came along.  Like many women her age, we look up to her, we admire he style, grace and of course that fairy tales really do come true!

Recently there have been pictures that have surfaced of her sunbathing topless all over the web.
Honestly, this just makes me mad and sick to my stomach.  Kate is a wonderful, respectable woman of our time and I just cant believe that people go above and beyond to do anything to release these pictures.  She cannot get away from them even for a minute just to enjoy some sun with her husband.
I ask that people would not support the magazines that will try to publish this.  I have heard that the royal family stands beside Kate and that they will be suing the magazine that has published the images.

It just rubs me the wrong way that people would go through such means to interrogate Kate and make her feel so exposed, belittled and probably embarrassed in front of the entire world in such a way.

That being said she is handling the situation just as we would expect; with composure, grace and poise and her dignity still in tact.  She is someone that I believe all of us ladies will look to to and admire for years to come.

By the way, don't you wish all of us could just raid Kate's wardrobe for just one day!

Coconut Oil Love

I have been trying to take better care of my hair for over a year now.  I have been getting it trimmed more regularly and am no longer highlighting it.  I only dye the tops if I get a few grays and I try to wait until there are too many showing through before I do.
I recently found one product that I now use almost on a daily basis.  It has improved the softness and the way my hair even moves if that makes sense.  It seems lighter and so much more silky.
Its called Oganix Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum and I am sooo in love with it.
Ulta
If your looking to add moisture, help with breakage and something to smooth out those frizzies go get this.  And for a mere $5.99 a bottle at Ulta it will totally be worth it.

Day 2 of Jillian Killing Me

Today I seriously think my legs are going to give out at any given moment.  They are so sore!!  I got home last night after a few errands to run for the office and was exhausted, beyond exhausted, just plain right tired. All I could think about was plopping my  little fat but on the couch and conk out.  Unfortunately, Jillian was calling my name, and it wasn't just a whisper. "Do you want to look like a cow on that cruise? I don't think so!!! GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE AND WORK OUT NOW!!"  "Okay, Okay..."

So I mustered up what little energy I had, changed and marched downstairs while telling my sleepy husband that I would start dinner in 30 minutes... unless he wanted to cook.  Turns out, hes the sweetest man ever and decided to cook for me!  He's so good to me.
30 minutes later, sweat dripping off me I am done and I feel accomplished even though I just want to eat now and go to bed.  I walk upstairs to smell dinner almost complete and kiss my sweetie and thank him so much for helping me out.  I think I might need to let him cook more often because the chicken he made was delicious, either that or I was so tired and hungry I could've cared less what it tasted like.

Needless to say, I have another day down. And a million more to go.  Not really just 28.  28 more days and well see how this body looks.  Here's to hoping it'll look a little lighter, a littler tighter and I'll be a lot happier!

Have a blessed day everyone!!

Loosin' for the Cuisin'

Yea, yea, I know that was super corny but I am excited to announce that the hubbs and I will be finally going on a cruise together this November.  He has been on a couple before but I haven't ever.  My sister-n-law in getting married and then honeymooning on the Royal Carribean so she decided to invite us along.  Boats a big I hear so we shouldn't interupt their fun too much.
We booked our cruise last week so now I am even more motivated than ever to get this happy marriage weight off of me.  How does that happen so quick?  You get married your happy, and loving life and 20 pounds later your like.... WTF.  How did this happen?  I worked so friggin' hard to get it tip top shape for the wedding and now by the looks of me you couldnt' even tell.
So this is it.  Time to step up my A-Game and work it out... work it out... Crap now I have that Walk it out song stuck in my head!

I have a great love/ hate relationship with Jillian Michaels so i thought I would give her another try and look at her Ripped in 30 DVD.  I did it last night and come circut 3 I was cursing her out.  That is one tough Lady.  But she knows just what to say to keep you moving, to keep your confidence up and to keep you from quitting.  That and the background cheering I got from my husband from upstairs.  After my whimpering and growling because I thought my arms were about to fall off I hear him..."Babe, keep going. Your doing awesome, your almost done!"
Okay, Okay, I really can do this!  I finished and was glad I did.
Day One down and now only 29 more to go.

Back to School for the Kiddo's

We dont have kid's yet but I think when we do we might have to do a prank or two on them.  I have noticed a trend that Jimmy Kimmel likes to have his audience prank their kinds and then send in the video's.  I hope this is still going on in a few more years when the time comes for us. I have some great ideas.

Anyone else kid free already thinking of fun things you can do to you kids??

Bridal Shower for the Bride to Be

My sister in law is getting married in 2 months so I have been working with her bridesmaids and maid of honor to create the perfect bridal shower for her.  If you know my sister in law you would honestly think she is the most genuine, and kind hearted person you have ever met in your life.  She is so sweet and always goes above and beyond to make anyone happy even its putting her own happiness aside.  So when she asked me to be a part of her wedding I jumped at the opportunity and knew I would do whatever it takes to make all of her events as special as she is to me.

The girls and I had decided to come up with a theme and asked the Bride to be a few of her favorites.  Of course I went to my pinterest account to find all kinds of ideas and we narrowed it down to a few favs.

First up: Breakfast at Tiffany's

I love turquoise and the hints of black. I thought this could be a really fun party if we actually served small pancakes and mimosas, and yummy fruit to pull in the "breakfast" part.  And then everyone could dress in their best little black dress and best Audrey Hepburn look.  I thought it would be glam and fun.

Next up was: Pretty in Pink

I was smitten with these cupcakes the minute I saw them.

The idea I had behind pretty in pink was to a have a fun, girlie and feminine bridal shower.  All girls want to feel feminine and girlie on their bridal shower day.  It is the day for them to to feel their best and to be showered with love by all of their friends and family.

Finally : Vintage Tea Party

Tea Party's are so fun.  They have a dainty yet laid back vibe that can make anyone's heart pitter patter.  It brings you back to days as young little girl playing dress up and drinking pretend tea with your best friends.  I love the grown up version of this adding the vintage charm to make this a memorable occasion any bride would love.

So which one do you think us bridesmaid's decided on??
